SOUK is a premium frozen food brand born in Cyprus. We bring Mediterranean, Turkish and Cypriot recipes to your table in a convenient frozen format. It is the fresh way to freeze.
SOUK is backed by Metgin Ltd. and more than 40 years of food industry experience. Our team knows food, from sourcing to production. That knowledge shapes every product we make.
SOUK products are made in Cyprus. The island's culinary traditions guide our recipes. We work with local knowledge and modern production standards.
We respect tradition but embrace modern freezing. Our products are handmade where it matters, using quality ingredients. The result is honest food that tastes like it should.
Handmade means skilled people shape, fill and finish many of our products by hand. It is slower than full automation. It gives our food a genuine, crafted character.
Freezing locks in freshness at the peak moment. Freezing helps preserve food quality and makes it easier to enjoy your favourite products when you need them. For ingredients and additives, check the label on each pack.
Keep SOUK products in your freezer at minus eighteen degrees Celsius or below. Once opened, keep them sealed and return them to the freezer quickly. Always check the packaging for specific guidance.
Do not refreeze products after they have fully thawed. If a product has partially thawed but remains cold, cook it thoroughly before eating. When in doubt, follow the instructions on the pack.
Most SOUK products are designed to go straight from freezer to oven or pan. This keeps things simple and preserves texture. Check the instructions on the pack for whether to cook from frozen or thaw first, and for the required cooking time and temperature
Sourdough fermentation is a slow, natural process using wild yeast and bacteria. It develops deeper flavor and a better crumb structure. It takes patience, but the result is worth it.
